Gallium Ionization Energy

The Gallium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Gallium.
Ga -> Ga+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Gallium is:
GaN+ -> Ga(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Ga -> Ga1+ = 578.8 kJ/mol = 138.47 Kcal/mol
Ga1+ -> Ga2+ = 1979 kJ/mol = 473.44 Kcal/mol
Ga2+ -> Ga3+ = 2963 kJ/mol = 708.85 Kcal/mol
Ga3+ -> Ga4+ = 6200 kJ/mol = 1483.25 Kcal/mol
Ga4+ -> Ga5+ = 8700 kJ/mol = 2081.34 Kcal/mol
Ga5+ -> Ga6+ = 11400 kJ/mol = 2727.27 Kcal/mol
Ga6+ -> Ga7+ = 14400 kJ/mol = 3444.98 Kcal/mol
Ga7+ -> Ga8+ = 17700 kJ/mol = 4234.45 Kcal/mol
Ga8+ -> Ga9+ = 22300 kJ/mol = 5334.93 Kcal/mol
Ga9+ -> Ga10+ = 26100 kJ/mol = 6244.02 Kcal/mol
